We were very pleased to greet Eagle E-Type owner Jim ‘Ox’ Van Hoften (centre) and his buddies from California who dropped in to say hello at the start of their three week tour of the UK on a fabulous collection of BSA’s.
They shipped the Beezers over from the USA to join the huge dedicated convention on the Isle of Man and have a cruise around the UK while here.
This is not quite on the scale of some of Jim’s other adventures for he was an American fighter pilot and, quite fantastically, a space shuttle commander who spent no less than 338 hours in space - but its still sure to be a memorable lot of fun.
