In their constant search for ways to develop the Eagle E-Type, our engineers have developed an enormous range of improvements that significantly enhance the reliability, safety, comfort, and driving satisfaction of the original and classic Jaguar E-Type Roadster and classic E-Type Jaguar Coupe.
Eagle Classic
The Classic specification is tailored for a client who wishes to have maximum reliability, durability and versatility while adhering as faithfully as possible to the original specification and feel of the classic E-Type.
The legendary six cylinder twin cam XK engines are individually hand-built to a high unleaded specification with highly polished detailing, including the triple S.U. carburettors. The all synchromesh 4-speed gearbox and limited slip differentials are rebuilt to the same demanding standard. There is a choice of left or right hand drive, sprint, GT, or long-haul axle ratios, and tinted or clear glass.
The interior, which features Scottish hide and the German mohair hood are available in a wide range of colours. Legroom can be extended, if desired. Immobilisers can be fitted to the ignition and fuel circuits. We can offer beautifully integrated high power custom fitted audio systems, utilising hidden or flush fitting electric aerials, impeccably hand crafted fitted luggage and any of our further options can be applied to tailor each car to precise comfort and driving requirements.
These are exemplified by our GT, Sport and SuperSport variants.
Eagle GT
The GT specification provides enhanced capability in all road conditions and is often considered as offering the perfect balance for a touring car.
In addition to the comprehensive Eagle Classic specification, the GT gives a real crisping-up of the feel of the car on the road.This is achieved through a range of engine, fuel system and ignition improvements together with GT specification spring rates and anti roll bars.
Braking, steering and cooling systems are also uprated, with many other comfort and safety options.
In all road conditions, the car is more sure-footed, with no loss of ride suppleness. Steering feedback is more positive and stopping distances are shortened. With the addition of our own 5-speed gearbox, this is the ideal touring car.
Eagle Sport
The Sport builds further on the GT specification, adding improved performance, high speed cornering ability, enhanced chassis communication and more powerful braking ability. Added to the GT specification the Sport retains a superb grand touring capability, but adds very high speed cornering potential.This is achieved through revised suspension geometry and steering set up which perfectly complements today’s high performance tyres.
The ride remains comfortable, but there is increased chassis communication and better support from our custom designed and built reclining sports seats.The engine is more powerful, benefiting from among other items, an individually mapped ignition system, Sport camshafts and a big valve cylinder head. The cooling system has also been further improved. All this, together with a massively efficient braking system results in the ultimately versatile true driver’s car.
Eagle SuperSport
The SuperSport builds further on the Sport specification and combines the character of an original E-Type with the capability of a modern supercar.A power increase of at least 50% over the standard car provides thrilling acceleration.
The stiffer suspension settings contribute to the awesome cornering, with any potential ride comfort reduction neutralized by the use of highly advanced, custom built dampers.Massive cross drilled and vented AP Racing brakes bring dramatic braking power, aided by the latest tyre technology. Our pin sharp chassis is honed to perfection for the connoisseur of rapid motoring.
Embracing everything in the Sport specification, the SuperSport takes things to the ultimate level, fully retaining the character of an E-Type, but combining this with the capability of a modern supercar. An increase in power of 50% compared with the original results in breathtaking acceleration, with handling and braking to match.
